2 headlining frames retrimmed in County Tan for Gavin's lovely little mk1, apart from the sun visors, which Gav is going to do himself, these are the last pieces of the full interior retrim.

I love doing these, they take time but are very satisfying to fit.
Hopefully get some pictures back from Gavin once the whole car is complete.

This MK1 interior is for Brad who's car is undergoing a full restoration with the fabulous team The Real Mini Company
If you want to see the stunning work they do, they will be at the NEC Restoration Show from 20th-22nd March.

Brad's original interior was Tartan Red, he wanted to keep the design the same just change the colour 😊

Full seat retrim including new front diaphragms, foams & frames repainted. Matching door cards & parcel shelf all made on new boards & full set of trim pieces.

Interior now being safely stored ready for fitting when the car is finished 😁

We had the pleasure of working with Alan to retrim his absolutely gorgeous van 😍

Alan's 1976 Mini Van had mismatched seats - one MK1 & one MK2. We replaced the squab foam on the MK1 so both seats are now the same width, the diaphragms & base foams were also replaced.

The Harris Tweed ®️ Alan chose couldn't be more perfect for the colour of the van. This is the first time we've done a complete tweed seat, it works so well on these seats.
With the matching door cards it's definitely added a stylish retro vibe to this interior 🤩

Richard's South African 🇿🇦 MK2 Cooper's interior was really in need of some attention 😁 Another classic Mini trimmer had decided it wasn't a project they wanted to undertake but C&S were up for the challenge! 😎

It had been retrimmed previously using some interesting straps, that definitely weren't up to the job. We found one of the front door cards had been made from a packing box! 🫨 And interestingly there is a metal frame on the rear base. An interior that was a learning experience 😁

Now all freshly retrimmed in the classic MK2 design, ready for Richard's Mini to be a stunner again 😍

We had a very exciting day yesterday, a tour at British Motor Heritage 😁
Danny from MINI Owners Club was invited & asked Sam to join him (Sam is one of the admins on MOC) And where 'S' goes 'C' usually tags along! 😉

What an experience. We were in awe of the fact that all the machinery, jigs & presses they use are all still the original ones that came out of the Longbridge plant when it closed.
We were surrounded by so much history & it is great to know that BMH are training up the next generation to keep this amazing company running for many years to come 😍

Heritage Tan front & rear seat covers, made in the original design that Richard has in his car. Door cards & parcel shelf all made on new boards, gearstick gaiter & wheel arch covers.

Ready to be fitted for those trips to the boulangerie 🥐🥖

Great design choice by Brian - black vinyl with grey Alcantara & if you look carefully there is a subtle blue stitch 😍

Full seat retrim, matching door cards & parcel shelf, gaiters, sunvisor retrim & wheel arch covers.

This absolutely beautiful & unique 1960 MK1 belongs to Stephen & his brothers. Bought by their Dad for their Mum it was their childhood car & they've got very fond memories attached to it 😍

This car was a featured on The Late Brake Show just before the complete restoration was undertaken by The Real Mini Company . It had been tucked in the family's garage for years! And yes Jonny Smith did get it started 👏😁

Now heading into the final stages of works with some of the original 'modifications' kept for nostalgic reasons like the brass door hinges made by Stephen's Dad, the dash was also their Dad's own handy work. As the car was definitely a bit of this & bit of that Mini, this gave Stephen & his brothers free range to give the car the look that they wanted 😊

The photos do not show the gorgeous Teal Blue paintwork in all its shining glory.
The seats were from two different eras, very early post type in the front & a later rear seat. The interior has been made to match the paintwork with the fleck added for that historic touch.

Just such a truly special Mini. One that's been restored totally with love & happiness of what this car means to the family ❤️
