The Government has launched a major road safety strategy. It affects all road users, but particularly learners. Motorcycle training and licensing is being consulted on.

You can read and respond here if you wish:

We are consulting on changes to moped and motorcycle training, testing and licensing to improve road safety and simplify people's access to motorcycling.

So it's getting colder and winter is nearly here. But motorcycling can still be fun all year round.
We have good availability in December and January for Direct Access/A2 courses, so why not treat yourself to a full bike licence for Xmas, or as a gift for someone?

Please call us to get booked in or to purchase a course.

Would you like to feel more confident, capable and safer when riding your bike?
Whether you passed your test last week, last year or last decade, the DVSA Enhanced Rider Scheme has something for you.
With no test and no stress, this course, conducted in sessions over a period of weeks on Kent roads, focuses on concerns that you, the rider may have and addresses areas that are not covered thoroughly in test training, but are known to be high risk. These include bends, filtering and high speed overtaking, as well as upskilling with defensive riding.
Successful completion of the course results in a certificate from the DVSA.
If this sounds interesting, please drop us an email at [email protected] to ask any questions or to book an initial assessment ride.
We look forward to hearing from you.

Improve your riding skills using the enhanced rider scheme - you could get a motorcycle insurance discount when you complete it

Overall MOD 2 passes are slowly rising and it's the over-30s leading the recent surge, with the 20–29 age group still the most dominant category for passes!

What age were you when you passed your motorcycle test? 🤔

New Rider aged 16-24?

The National Young Rider Forum is partnering with the Warwickshire Road Safety Partnership to host its third free on-line event for young riders.

The on-line event is aimed at those aged between 16-24 years. It gives them a voice to ask any questions of NYRF members who cover a large area of expertise in the world of motorcycling.

The on-line event forms part of the New Young Rider Forum Young Rider Day.

The event seeks to raise awareness of the many young motorcyclists who take to the road on small, powered motorcycles and share their journey with larger and more powerful traffic.

Please share with anyone who might be interested and benefit.

Please take a look at the Kent Bikers website.
There is lots of useful information from KCC and their new road safety officer is keen to develop it further and help Kent bikers.

Welcome to Kent Bikers: a community hub for our county’s motorcyclists. As a website built by and maintained by local motorcyclists, it’s our mission to have a real and positive impact on the biking community – but we don’t stop there. With motorcyclists representing less than 1% of traffic ...
