We are looking for a skilled mechanic to join our expanding team in Farnborough undertaking road car maintenance and repairs, as well as classic car restoration.
Hours: Monday – Friday + every other Saturday: 8am – 5pm
Salary: Negotiable

Responsibilities:
• Maintaining and repairing vehicles. You will be responsible for troubleshooting issues and fixing them. You must also be a good communicator to provide advice to customers.
• Inspecting vehicle engine and mechanical / electrical components to diagnose issues accurately
• Inspecting vehicle computer and electronic systems to repair, maintain and upgrade
• Conducting routine maintenance work
• Scheduling future maintenance sessions and advising motorists on good vehicle use
• Repairing or replacing broken or dysfunctional parts and fix issues
• Providing accurate estimates (cost, time) for a repair or maintenance job
• Keeping logs on work and issues
• Maintaining equipment and tools in good condition

Requirements:
• Excellent knowledge of mechanical, electrical and electronic components of vehicles
• Working knowledge of vehicle diagnostic systems and methods
• Ability to handle various tools and heavy equipment
• Willingness to observe all safety precautions for protections against accidents, dangerous fluids, chemicals etc
• A valid certification is a definite plus
