Well we made it to Friday!!!
Been a crazy week. Paul’s been at the healm for it, and done pretty well under the circumstances. Let’s get through today and enjoy a bank holiday weekend. In typical summer fashion of rain all weekend 🤣🤣

With this heat we’re having , we are getting a lot of ‘My Aircon is not working’ phone calls.
We are more than happy to help get it working again. Most of the time it can be a simple top up of gas. Some of the time you could have a leak.
Just like this one in the video. We put a special dye in the system to detect leaks with a UV light. Then remove the gas again to prevent it getting in the atmosphere.

Depending on the model of the car, price range can be between £80 and £140 to get a Re-gas done.

What a busy week that was. Ending with a manic Friday!!
Lots of loose end jobs finished today that have been waiting for parts for nearly a week. So was nice to get them back on the road to our customers and out of our already busy car park.

Car in for MOT. Attached is last year’s advisory on tyres. As you can see mileage is 62k.
This vehicle has done 8000 miles since last year’s MOT.

Surprise surprise the tyre’s did not pass with an advisory this year. Instead had two dangerous failures!! Pictures included of bald tyres with cords exposed.

In case you didn’t know??? Tyres at 2mm will not last 8000 miles.

Just because you have an MOT pass, does not mean it is safe for an entire year.

Get those advisories checked out asap. Especially tyres, as illegal tyres come with points on your license and an hefty fine.

As most our customers know. We are currently not open on Saturdays,

BUT… A rare opportunity for a Saturday appointment has become available.
