A few pics of Steve's Beach Buggy we recommissioned last month. The front suspension was set up incorrectly with ball joints that had been installed 90 degrees out causing them to bind up and coilovers fighting against the leaves in the beam. We fitted a new beam, quality ball joints with the correct shocks and got it all set up correctly. After this it drove like a totally different buggy.
We also fitted a 1776 as the old 1600 had extremely bad end float and worn out Kadrons. The end float was so bad we could tell the case was not machinable so Steve opted to go bigger with an all new 1776 running twin IDFs and a Bluetooth 123 Distributor.
We went over the whole buggy, engine, suspension, electrics, brakes etc.
