We are looking for a highly qualified and competent MOTOR VEHICLE TECHNICIAN/MOT TESTER to join our team. You must be a self-motivated, organised and productive team player who is able to multi task. You must hold relevant qualifications and have a comprehensive tool kit. Duties include MOT Testing, repairs and servicing of motor vehicles, knowledge of vehicle electrics and diagnostic equipment as a matter of routine. You will need good verbal and written English skills and be Computer literate. A full Driving Licence is essential.
This is a great opportunity to work in a very successful business, who reward hard work and dedication. A company that offers you the opportunity to further your skills with on-going training and personal development. Hours are 08.30 - 17:30 Monday to Thursday and 08.30 - 17:00 on Fridays.

Part time working hours can be considered.

Give us your thoughts:

Due to the rising runing costs that all businesses are facing we are looking at ways to cut our overheads and save our customers money. The last thing we want to do is raise our labour rate, so we have to find savings elsewhere. One thing that costs us alot of money every year is card payments, this cost businesses thousands of pounds each year. We are asking that if possible, could customers either pay cash or bank transfer, allowing us to keep runing costs as low as possible. Card payments will still be an option as we understand some customers prefer this method. Please give us your opinion on this matter as customer satisfaction is very important to us.

Auto Doctor will re open on Thursday the 5th of January, we hope everyone has had a wonderful Christmas and a very happy new year. 'Twas the night before Christmas and out in the garage, There wasn't a trace of any cars too be fixed.

The presents were wrapped and the lights were all lit, So I figured I'd mess
with the Cobra for a bit.

I opened the bonnet to give a quick check, When a deep voice behind me said
"looks pretty good."

Well, as you can imagine, I turned mighty quick, and there, by the toolboxes , stood good ol’ Saint Nick!

We stood there a bit, not too sure what to say, Then he said "don't suppose
that you'd trade for my sleigh?

I said "no way, Santa" and started to grin, "But if you've got the time we
could go for a spin!"

His round little mouth, all tied up like a bow, Turned into a smile and he
said "Hey! Let's go!!"

So as not to disturb all the neighbors' retreat, We pushed the old Cobra
quietly into the street,

Then, taking our places to drift up the hill, I turned on the key and I
let the sound spill.

The sound that erupted took him by surprise, But he liked it a lot, by the
look in his eyes.

With the tires a' crying and headers aglow, We headed on out to where
the hot rodders go.

And Santa's grin widened, approaching his ears, With every shift up of the trans as i went through the gears.

Then he yelled "can't recall when I've felt so alive!" So I backed off the
throttle and said "you wanna drive?"

Ol’ Santa was stunned when I handed him the keys, When he walked past the
headlights he shook at the knees!

Then the small block exploded with super exhaust sound! Santa's foot hit the
gas and the tires shook the ground!

He shifted into second, again into third! I sat there just watching, at loss for
a word,

Then I heard him exclaim as we blasted from sight,

"Merry Christmas to all...........it's one heck of a night!!!"
