🎣 Nae salmon… but not exactly a wasted morning!

While most of us were probably still considering that first cup of coffee, Dave was already on the River Isla squeezing in some of his final casts before the fishing season ends.

The salmon managed to avoid him again, but a beautiful brown trout did make an appearance. ✅

He also stopped for the obligatory morning blether with some of his regular local friends… although judging by the photo, the cows weren’t giving away any fishing secrets. 🐄😂

Then it was back into the new Mazda — with enough space for rods, waders, tackle and considerably more fish than Dave actually caught.

We couldn’t resist sharing these photographs though. What a stunning Scottish morning.
