Still processing this INSANE collection of Kei cars 🤤

I drove to the other end of the country to film Matt's (aka 's) plethora of JDM goodness. There wasn't just Kei's there, he has a handful of Datsuns, a City Turbo II with the obligitory Motocompo in the boot and an uber-rare wheel collection.

The attention to detail in every build is unmatched in the UK Kei car scene. He's set the bar extremely high for everyone else.

I recently drove down to the other end of the country to see Matt's incredible collection of Kei cars 🇯🇵

I've not seen a private collection quite like it before. From 'Holy Grails' like the AZ-1 and City Turbo II (granted it's not a Kei car, but we'll let it off), to a retired fire truck and baby NSX...

Every car is specced up to the eyeballs and absolutely immaculate. One hell of a lineup!

Minilites are on the Midget 💪

All plastic trims removed. They all need some form repair. Suzuki Carry rear lights ordered, apparently they fit in with no extra work and theyre £170 cheaper than a set of standard ones. A/C is coming out. I might regret it since I'm going to be sat on the engine, but the system was fooooked.

The teardown on the pink Midget has begun 🔥

Before I start on the camper build, it needs to be roadworthy. GOOD NEWS. It's not as crusty as I first thought. I mean yeah, it looks bad, but it really isn't.

The AC condenser is about the worst of it, but that entire system is going in the bin so no dramas. The door is the only bit that requires welding up and I've got a few parts that are going to be tricky to find which are required for the MOT.

Apart from those little setbacks, I think it's going to fly through once it's had a bit of love ❤️
