Oops, I did it again, just picked up another V70 T5. Too good a price to pass up on despite me having projects coming out my ears. This thing is really quick, I think it's been remapped 🤫. Auto box is changing smoothly even when hot, needs new rear discs, pads and shoes, exhaust is blowing somewhere, and power steering needs a flush or new pump. Interior needs a few small jobs to make right, but overall, quite happy with this. Won't do much to this for a couple weeks as I try to clear my feet.

With the V60 being in the doghouse, the C30 T5 got treated to a machine polish, still a bit to do, need to wax and remove tar spots. Removed the shield sticker from wing too as the other had fell off anyway.

Everything is going well, until it's not. I started V60 yesterday to hear a squeaky pulley noise, not thinking it's serious I drove to a meeting without issues. At end of day, started car to head home, and heard pulley again, realising I'd need to sort soon I headed home, however the aux belt snapped and I managed to drive about 10 miles down motorway before I called it quits as battery was almost done. Luckily this belt did not get thrown into timing belt, so probably looking at a new tensioner pulley and belt. C30 T5 has stepped into the void for now.

Running the long time lurker V60 D3 this month. Going to give the 5 series a rest and properly road test this as it's been off for a while. Drives well, quite quick and still loving the Jaguar alloys I fitted to this last year.

C30 T5 given a quick wash today, still not being driven as too much salt around. A chance for you all to admire the refurbed alloys and the drilled and grooved brake discs fitted over the weekend 😍.
This will be going up for sale soon once I've done a couple more cosmetic jobs
