Two podiums, 1 - 2 finish and fastest laps, what more could you ask for from these cars?! 🏆🏆

A few weekends ago these took both top steps on both days, with the fastest lap being shared on Saturday for Chris and Neil on Sunday! What almost turned into a race between themselves both days, a bit of oil from a backmarker caused chaos and a puncture for Chris on Sunday resulting in a DNF sadly, but this allowed Neil to take the top step instead!

Classic stock hatch is a highly competitive bumper to bumper series, so having two cars winning always shows the level we aim for to find the best optimisations.

MK3 Focus RS's do look amazing when they look like this!

We had in for a fast road alignment prior to a trip to the ring, we found a few improvements to help with tyre wear but maintaining performance as this stunning example is used daily as well as track use!

Back to normality with race season fully underway 🏆

Over winter we had been preparing and developing 's 205 GTi ready for another season of 750 Motor club Classic Stock Hatch. When developing the car over the offseason, we put in the closest condition to race trim as possible to make sure all the data and setup is as close to what it can be without the car being on the track.

We found a good few more tweaks, even though this car has multiple lap records and a championship under it's belt, we still strive to make it faster.

We don't just offer alignment and normal repairs, we work with any race cars out there to develop not only the car to be as quick as possible but the driver as well by gaining as much feedback and data as possible after each event.

Another day another Honda! 🇯🇵🇯🇵

There is something about an S2000, they look amazing and have the RPM to make an amazing sound track. We had .jake in for alignment, corner weighting and bump steer check.
These cars have amazing adjustment from factory and with the right tweaks we managed to get a setup that not only allowed the huge tyres to fit in the arch but be suitable for track and road use.
The bump steer did find that it needs a bit of tweaking to optimise but unfortunately non adjustable tie rods stopped us from progressing further. We look forward to seeing it back in the future.

Another one?! Yes another one! But this time an FN2!

We had 's FN2 in for re alignment after a set of coilovers and . They wanted the best setup that will work on track as well as on suitable for road use. With these they require shims in the axle and we managed to get it as close as we could with what we had.

Another EP3 for Alignment 👀

This time we had .illwhxte for fast road alignment and front camber bolts. This lovely example may have had a few more miles than most but the underside condition was very clean for its age with only a few wear and tear noted on our free vehicle health checks ✅
We maximised the setup as best we could with what we had available and managed a good setup that should provide nice feedback and driveability.

Honestly you can't beat an EP3 type R for a race car 💪

We had this lovely EP3 in to get the final bits sorted so it could be ready for racing. What started out as a straight forward alignment turned into quite a list, with everything from removing the heater box and insulation to cut off system and fire extinguisher system.

Once all the racing requirements had been fitted we went about sorting the setup, starting with the ride heights and corner weighting to compensate for the removal of a lot of weight!

We then done base alignment setup before looking into the bump steer, and to our surprise no bump steer rectification parts currently on the market, fitted in a multitude of ways, had little to no effect, some even making it worse than before! 😱

After a bit of test work we have developed a concept that makes the bump steer reduce massively. We look forward to developing this further as nothing on the market actually truly works when tested.

With the static alignment optimised, we look forward to seeing how we can develop this further in the not so distant future.

Bright red 8P RS3? What's not to like?!

These are certainly getting a rarity nowadays compared to all the newer generations. This lovely car has been treated to new brakes discs all round as well as our signature wheel alignment to make sure it handles the way it should do!
