If you ever wanted a reason to keep your vehicle regularly serviced then this is it!

As you can see here in this picture. The oil strainer is blocked with debris caused by in sufficient servicing intervals

This job could have been avoided had regular servicing been applied!

Drop us a message and see if this is something we can help you avoid!

Wetbelts! ⚙️

Everyone seems to be scared of them and huge conversations have been had regarding there replacement.

Providing you have a good service record 📋don’t panic, if your vehicle has skipped a service or is late by a few weeks it’s not necessarily the end of the world. The majority of wetbelt failures are from short distance driving and aggressive driving from a cold start! 🚐 💨

If however, you are experiencing any of of the following issues, brake pedal hard, oil pressure warning indicators, misfiring, poor starting, then these could most likely mean your due a replacement.

But don’t panic, we supply all new quality parts, fitted and warranted for 12 months, new timing covers where necessary, a full comprehensive service at the same time, all documented and completed in a timely manor.

Courtesy vehicles available upon request 🚗

Please drop us a message with your reg make and model for a competitive quotation, we cover all makes and models from the ecoblue transits, to the PSA engines

Who doesnt love a wetbelt?

A very common failure in these new generation of vehicles

The whole process consists of removing all the external hardware, and on some cases engine mounts to allow access to the timing belt cover. Once removed we have full access to the belt and tensioner and can begin the clean up process and reassembly.

A painstakingly long and sometimes tricky job, but the satisfaction and peace of mind is well worth it.

Sadly we won’t be able to do anything today!

Hope you all have a lovely weekend!

Best design ever or serious flaw?

Wetbelts!

It’s becoming more and more common that these wetbelt need relaxing sooner than manufacturers guidelines.

However, excessive wear can be down to a number of things. Harsh driving, incorrect servicing intervals, or even the wrong oil.

Luckily enough, I’ve done my fair share to see enough horror stories, but the end result is always the same!

Happy Friday!

Few of these posts going about today so makes sense to join in with the awareness.

Engine oil - if yours looks like this, get some respect for your car, just remember all the moments you spend throughout the year travelling to work, school the supermarket, airports and family gatherings.

Take the time to look after your car and just once a year have a service! It will not only extend the life of your vehicle but you’ll also gain some fuel economy, a brilliant decision with the rising costs of fuel ⛽️

We’re selling our little courtesy car to make way for a new one!

This has been a little gem for us and we’ve tried our best to look after it in the time we’ve had it, but we’ve replaced it with a new car now so this one needs a new home 🏠
