Fin plug repair.
Took the plug out and took out the damaged foam and filler from what looked like a previous repair then as shown in photo 3 I noticed the filler still had a small crack which was not structural. The crack looks a lot bigger in the picture but I zoomed in so it could be clearly seen. I then took back the damaged filler under the glass. Filled and replaced the plug, glassed and top coated.

Same board as bellow second repair. Again class example of how an external crack can run deep into the core. The hole ended up being close to an inch deep to get rid of all the damaged foam.

A couple of big hits taken by this epoxy board, this is the first repair. As you can see I took the damage all the way back till the inner core was no longer damaged, it always surprise me how far a crack can run into the foam. I then glasses over the top and finished.
