🚐✨ CUSTOM BUILD — PART ONE ✨🚐

Another bespoke custom build by Monster V dub van Conversions, Exeter, Devon — and this one is something seriously special!

For this camper, the customer wanted two kitchens, with a range of bespoke adaptations to the Evo kitchen, while also taking care of his own electrics.

One of the standout details was the under-mounted sink, finished with a beautiful bamboo cover matching the worktop. But this isn’t just about looking good — we added a clever cut-out so that any drips fall straight into the sink. Practical, tidy and perfectly thought through. 👌

We also made some bespoke changes to the rear cupboard, giving it a bigger door opening, with the tambour doors opening outwards for improved access and usability.

And that’s not all…

The customer also wanted a second kitchen on the rear, allowing them to cook under the tailgate — perfect for outdoor cooking and making the most of life on the road. 🍳🔥

The rear kitchen is currently being built still by hand making this a truly individual conversion designed around exactly how the customer wants to use their camper.

This van came to us for Part One of its camper conversion, and what a transformation already!

What. A. Day. 🚐

It’s been absolutely non-stop here at Monster Van Conversions, Exeter, with five vans through the workshop today!

🔹 VW T6.1 #1 is a returning customer the van arrived for the stage one of its camper conversion at the beginning of the week but today we fitted its new floor following all the other work we did on it this week – we can’t wait to show you how this one transforms.

🔹 VW T6.1 #2 came in with what was thought to be an electrical fault. After some detective work, we tracked it down to a seized water pump. While it was in, we also fitted a rear quarter opening window to make the most of its visit.

🔹 VW T6 yet another returning customer there van received a great upgrade package with twin Rib single swivel bases, a new Kenwood head unit, and a Vamoose awning rail – ready for plenty more adventures.

🔹 VW T5 belonged to another of our returning customers (thanks to all of you for coming back to us! 🙌). We fitted a new barn door window to complete another stage of the build.

🔹 And finally, a Renault Kangoo rolled in for an opening window installation in the sliding door, proving it’s not just VW vans that keep us busy!

Days like today remind us why we love what we do. Every van is different, every job brings a new challenge, and there’s nothing better than helping our customers create the perfect vehicle for work, weekends away, or full-on adventures.
