Sunday, never a rest day for us. There is always something on our small holding that requires fixing. The sheep require moving to another field and the lights on the livestock trailer we bought are not functioning properly.A nice wee rewiring job for the wife today so she can play shepherdess tomorrow with Storm.

We always get a little tense at this time of year as the BS10125 accreditation checks are due. We have seen some staff changes this year which involve checking we are meeting all aspects of the BS10125 in regards to trained staff. Again we have passed with flying colours.

Due to the very hot spell and the temperatures we are experiencing we have taken the decision to close at 12.30 tomorrow. We have no vehicle collections in the afternoon. This will enable our staff to be comfortable in the heat. Mike is available if you have an emergency as usual. Keep hydrated and check on any vulnerable elderly neighbours.

DOG GROOMERS ASSISIANT/APPRENTICE REQUIRED
Due to our expansion we require a groomer’s assistant/apprentice.
Duties include:
- meeting and greeting customers and their pets
- ensuring that the dog is happy on arrival and throughout their stay
- maintaining a safe environment for the dogs whilst in our care
- bathing the dogs
- drying the dogs
- preparing dogs for grooming
- keeping areas clear of dog hair and maintaining a clean environment

The Rewards are:

Yell4repairs are located in Pinhoe Exeter and we are looking for 2 panel be**ers to join our small friendly team. We cater for cars, motorbikes and vans up to Luton size. We do private jobs as well as insurance work. We are BS10125 accredited.
Working hours are 0800-1700 Monday to Friday but can be flexible for the right candidates. 4 day week can also be accommodated
Overtime is currently readily available if you are a work-a-holic.
20 days paid holiday + bank 8 holidays & your birthday/anniversary as an extra paid holiday.

WANTED OFFICE ADMIN ASSISTANT

We are in need of someone to help in our office. Duties include answering the phone, booking in clients, dealing with enquiries. Computer knowledge is a must but we can train you on our invoicing programs (Audatex & plan manager) if you can make a nice cup of coffee, fantastic.
Opportunity to learn how to estimate damaged vehicles.
Hours: Mon-Fri 08.00-17.00
28 days holiday inc bank holidays
Plus Day off for birthday.

A new report from the Institute of the Motor Industry has revealed that although vacancy rates in the sector are continuing to fall, there are still more than 23,000 job roles unfilled. The report found that the automotive sector is slowly recovering with a further decline in vacancy rates, but it remains volatile with higher than average vacancies- around 40 %

The above statement may explain why no one is applying for our panel be**er advertisements. Our employees seem laid back and happy so I don’t think it’s because we are bad employers.

If you know someone who’s looking for a new venture please send them our way.

Also looking for someone to run the office/estimating of vehicles. Ideally they should also be able to make a wicked cup of coffee for Michael!
