Customer was never happy with the black on black, but being a High-spec car, he couldnt pass on purchasing it.........so came to us to do the oem chrome silver which very few places can do properly.

We did these years ago, unfortunately customer dropped something heavy on it during vehicle maintenance and chipped the centre+lip.

BE CAREFUL WHERE YOU TAKE YOUR DIAMOND CUT WHEELS

So many inexperienced people doing these repairs now, since the introduction of much cheaper machines, and mobile van friendly sized lathes.

Its not as easy as chucking a wheel on a lathe, skimming and lacquering.

We're starting to see an influx of butchered wheels due to wheels being cut buckled or not clocked in the chuck properly, causing uneven cuts..........or wheels cut to minimum depth trying to remove deep damage that required welding. These Volvo wheels were no exception...........

21" Volvo Xc60 diamond cut wheels - SAVED

Too much removed, swage lines disappeared, deep damage not welded in, then poorly hand painted to hide the mistake.

With swage lines being uneven on every spoke, there was no option but to try save them by regrinding them out. Doing in a single colour would still look odd with missing detail on the spokes.
