Congratulations to Amy Bird from Wickhamford, who passed her test at the 7th time of asking in Worcester 13/08/26 with just 1 driving fault! This was just her 2nd test with us, having missed out 3 weeks ago – then it was just 2 faults on arguably the hardest route but she faffed the reverse park near the start. Her 1 fault today was faffing the forward park but not quite so badly as 3 weeks ago! This is huge for Amy, who’s been learning to drive for half of her life. She came to us 2½ years ago with zero confidence and another test booked having failed so many & just being put back in again, without sorting out the issues – not her fault. So that test was cancelled and we started the rebuild. We’ve rebuilt her confidence, filled in the gaps and taken her to Worcester instead of Cheltenham which has made a difference. She had to redo the theory which took a while, but once passed, we booked a test for July when she so narrowly missed out. But this gave her renewed confidence as she knew she could do it – and today was just a procession. Thanks too to Amy’s family & friends who have been taking her out for practice outside of lessons which has been a great help. Very well done Amy, we’re so pleased for you and proud that you’ve got there in the end, and now you can enjoy safe driving. As Steve and I say, it’s days like these which really make our job worthwhile.
