🏆 Tommy Hughes Memorial Trophy

Tommy Hughes was a dedicated volunteer who gave so much to motorsport. Alongside his team of marshals, he travelled throughout Ireland helping clubs run their events smoothly, efficiently and safely. His kindness and commitment are still remembered by the many people he helped.

After Tommy passed away in 2001, his niece Jacqueline donated this trophy in his memory. It was first presented in Donegal in 2002 and continues to honour a volunteer who shows the same dedication, courtesy and willingness to help others.

To every marshal and volunteer: we appreciate the work you do. Events simply could not happen without you.

We are delighted to present this year’s Tommy Hughes Memorial Trophy to John Millar. Thank you, John, for all that you give to motorsport. A special thank you to cadet marshal James Fox for handing over the trophy.

Congratulations, John — a fitting honour in Tommy’s memory. 👏
