When the parts are available same day service is key 🔑 received a call this morning to take a look at a ford focus which had lit up the cluster with warning lights and was misfiring, now knowing this man probably had a boat to catch I got to work and found the injector in cylinder 1 had an electrical failure, got it replaced and recoded before he started work 🚛🛳 Jimmy F Thompson

Another day another BMW 🫣 this 535d was running extremely poorly it had multiple fault codes for air mass issues, maf sensor, throttle valve, egr, map sensor all showing faults so it was time to bring the smoke 💪 smoke tested the intake system and found major boost leak at the inlet manifold, new set of seals and a swirl flap delete whilst it was off and this 535 is singing again ✔️ vehicle also received a full engine, gearbox, diff, air con service plus a few tweeks to the ECU 😏

Not too often you get to work on brand new machinery 😍 had this new Defender 110 with only delivery miles on the clock in for side steps and mud flaps, really helps square these vehicles off 📝🚗

The full works 💪 This BMW 535d got the full works 👀 Full service, gearbox service with new pan/filter, new brakes, parking sensor fault repaired, bulb issues sorted, air conditioning test and re-gas and a stage 1 eco remap with a few extras added on 😏 needless to say it drives and pulls like new. For a 2005 car its a credit to its owner, immaculate inside and out and now drives how it should 👌🪛

Another BMW for valve cover replacement, the constant heat cycling hardens the gaskets and the cover itself is plastic so a full replacement is the right choice for these engines. Oil was pooling around one of the injectors and also leaking from rear corner of the cover, this drips on to the hot exhaust and causes fumes inside the cabin. The DPF was also heavily clogged in this vehicle so was removed and cleaned.

Oil leak stopped ✔️
Cabin fumes gone ✔️
Power restored ✔️
Engine light off ✔️
Oil service for good measure ✔️

This Range Rover Evoque came to me stuck in park, there were no stored fault codes so it was down to diagnostic live data to see what was going on. After a look through the data I noticed that 2 of the hall sensors within the GSM module were well out of expected range. A repair of the module and a full service for good measure and this Evoque is back on the road 👌🚗🔧

The domino effect.. I went on a call-out to this vehicle, electrics had faded out and vehicle stopped and wouldn't start again, after a look I quickly discovered the alternator was generating no power and that then led to the discovery of a diesel leak high up on the engine causing havoc with every component it saturated on its way down. After a new diesel hose, an alternator rebuild, auxiliary belt and a real good clean this vans ready to get back to work on Monday morning 👍🔧📝
