8 weeks later and this beautiful low mile CLK elegance is complete.

This was a nostalgic purchase by the client due to owning one as a youth.

This one had what appeared to be surface rust on the front wings which turned out to be small hole required some new metal welded in with stone chip guard underneath.

The roof required some repairs before a full restoration package.

Then all the paintwork was detailed and coated with our flagship correct and protect package, going strong for 16 years this year.

Drivers seat and steering wheel were removed to repair the original leather due to shrinkage and seam opening.

Last thing was some composing to brighten the interior.

Overall looked incredible as it left us yesterday.

TAKE 2!

Red hot decaf poured straight onto the seat that has recently been protected with smart fabric.

Rather than the tea sinking straight into the fabric causing staining, and long term odours it was easy to clean straight of the surface.

This never gets old!

As part of our Detailer trading this week we carefully cleaned the alcantara and leather on these seats before hot air drying them ready for smart fabric sealant.

12 hours later the standard water test was epic!

What a project, a great revival of a modern classic!

This beautiful daily drive has got the stage it required some love so this is what we did to make that happen:

• Removed the roof to remove the old window and make a new one that was then stitched in before refitting the roof
• 13 dents remove across 4 panels
• Full correct and protect to revive paint finish and protect with coatings
• Wheels were removed ready to split apart ready for full refurbishment and rebalance
• Interior was removed to fully conolised due to severe scuff, fading and cracking to the trim and leather work.

It left us looking its best and fully protected for the seasons ahead.

This Daimler never gets old, incredible from start to finish.

And starts and runs on the button like a new car.

Such a privilege to have something so rare and lovely in the trim shop.
