So after 51 years it has come time to hang up the car keys.

I have closed the showroom doors for the last time. I really didn’t think the day would come but last year I decided that I was actually ready for retirement and the timing was right.

I have now started a new life in Estoril, Portugal, and am enjoying the weather and the sport (tennis), meeting new people, making new friends and eating new food, also, trying to learn Portuguese (difficult!)

I would like to thank all my employees & colleagues who have helped along the journey through my various businesses from 1st September 1969 - Longstone Motor Co, Craiglockhart Motor Co, Corstorphine Motor Co, the 5 years working with Glenvarigill Porsche & Ferrari and then the last 15 years back working for myself trading as Kenny Dunn Cars.

I would also like to thank the many customers who bought cars from me over that time, I met lots of great people on the way, many who have become close friends.

Any successful business needs both sides of the equation to work - happy motivated staff & satisfied customers.

I enjoyed every step along the way, it wasn’t always easy, but I think you appreciate things more when you have to fight for them
