Measure twice… cut once.

This customer’s self build Raptor RR260 needed a lowered sump to achieve the correct ground clearance.

Before making the first cut, Andy calculates the finished height, taking both the chassis and road clearance into account. A laser level is then used to project a perfectly level datum line before the cut is marked by hand.

It might look straightforward, but this is where precision matters. A few millimetres out at this stage can become a very expensive mistake! 🙈

It’s this level of care and engineering that goes into every Raptor — whether we build it for you or you build it yourself.

🔧 Custom fuel tank fabrication
Part 1

Starting with 3mm aluminium, we’re fabricating a bespoke fuel tank for a Kawasaki ZZR1400 engine conversion.

Designed to accept the original ZZR1400 fuel pump and fuel level sensor, ensuring the fuel injection system operates as Kawasaki intended.

Today’s job: precision cutting and folding.

No off-the-shelf parts. Just purpose-built engineering.
