To most drivers, the M1 and M2 buttons on the BMW M2 are just customisable drive modes.

But to Vicki Butler-Henderson, they’re Mum 1 and Mum 2.

👩‍👧 Mum 1: calm, collected, school-run ready.
🏎️ Mum 2: full power, fun mode for the drive home.

On the M2, those steering-wheel buttons let you pre-set two completely different setups — adjusting throttle response, suspension, steering, and stability control. One tap, and it switches from calm to full on M car mode.
