Hi my name is Gary Scott and I am a fully qualified ADI having trained initially with BSM and latterly with Drivers Scotland now operating independently. I offer lessons throughout Edinburgh and West Lothian at times to suit you. you passed your test a while ago but haven't driven for years and you just need a few refresher sessions with a dual control car and friendly instructor to get back behind the wheel. No problem - contact me and I will call you back to arrange sessions with you to get you rolling again. Never driven on a motorway or in the city - gain confidence with a few sessions under guidance. Nervous getting back behind a wheel - contact me and I will call you back to discuss what will suit you to get that self belief back! I aim to make driving fun and enjoyable whilst still maintaining professional instruction during every lesson. I am very aware that not every pupil responds to the same method of teaching; so I adapt and tailor my lesson plans to find the most efficient and effective method for each individual, ensuring that learning progresses rapidly and confidently. I also ensure your lesson experience teaches you not just to pass your test but also real driving in today's challenging road conditions thereby instilling confidence as you learn. Pay as you go or block booking discount available. I recommend if you want a block booking to have a single first lesson to check I will provide the tuition you want. Gary is an amazing instructor… I knew I would be an anxious learner but with his extremely patient, calm, humorous, easing-going nature I was at ease the whole time and his confidence in my ability came complete with words of wisdom!! He absolutely caters to 'your' ability and doesn't hang around. You learn on the move with Gary as nothing phases him. He has taught me how to become a confident, independent driver, enabling me to pass both my theory and practical test first time. Now that I’ve passed im going to miss him. Whilst not losing sight of theeh fact I was being taught the important techniques of driving, It has been a proper good laugh. I have and would highly recommend Gary as an instructor and wish him all the best for the future.

Having been nervous about learning to drive Gary quickly but me at my ease and I found that in no time I was gaining confidence. I enjoyed my lessons which were always relaxed and together we had a good laugh. Gary is also very accommodating with lesson times and extremely reliable. He teaches in a very positive manner and I have no hesitation in recommending him.

I was at first nervous about learning to drive, but was soon put at ease, Gary teaches in a style that provided me with self confidence while maintaining a fun atmosphere during lessons. He always took time to go over and explain things that I didn't understand, this helped to ensure I was gaining more confidence and skills with each lesson.
He was always punctual and on time, and was very flexible with fitting my lessons around a full time job. Would definitely recommend!

Gary is a patient and friendly instructor who was able to adapt his teaching methods to suit me when I was struggling with certain skills.
