The purpose of this post is just to show a small insight into the world of bodywork restoration!!
This Triumph Stag has been with us a wee while now, and you can see why. The lads do have their work cut out when it comes to projects like this.
That rust doesn't just disappear, these guys work meticulously at removing and treating these areas to get it to a point that they and we're happy with before moving onto the next stages of the process.
It's dusty, dirty work, removing the rust, fabricating new sections to cover the holes left as a result of the rust; sometimes full panels. Filler work, re-aligning doors and panels so the gaps are just right before considering the prep work ahead of primer, then finally prepping for full paint and polish.
It's a long drawn out process, however the outcome always proves it's worth!!
