🚊 Tram: Drive around 4 miles to Ingliston Park & Ride, where you can park your motorhome or campervan and take the tram directly to Murrayfield Stadium.

🚌 Bus: Catch the X27 from Calderwood towards Edinburgh. From the city, you can connect to local buses (number12,26 or 31) towards Murrayfield. Allow extra time during busy periods.

🚲 Bike: Follow the Union Canal towpath towards Edinburgh, then continue towards Murrayfield using local cycle routes.

We recommend checking the latest public transport timetables before travelling, especially on event days.

Officially Linwater Caravan Park is based on the outskirts of Edinburgh. We are less than 1 mile from the border of West Lothian.

🛍Is there a shop onsite?
Yes! We have a small onsite shop which sells essentials. We are open every day, excluding Christmas and New Years day.

❄Are you open all year?
Yes! Linwater is open for touring and self catering accommodation all year round!

🐶What activities are available onsite?
We have an onsite children's play area, a dedicated dog walking area and lots of local walking routes directly from the park.

We’ve spotted quite a few popping up around the site recently, from tiny little ones hiding in the grass to some rather impressive specimens 😍

We had our end of season team BBQ this past week and it was a great chance to celebrate the team after another busy summer. A BIG thank you to the team for all of their hard work this season, we couldn't have done it without you! 💙

😁The Many Faces of Linwater! 😁

As summer draws to a close, we thought it was time for a summer recap and to fill you in on the team goings on!

Back in late spring we welcomed the wonderful Susi to work alongside Laura over the summer.

We’re very pleased to say that our warden team will be familiar next summer, with Brent, Emma & Susi all returning for another season at Linwater. Not forgetting that Laura will be keeping us company over the winter season as our winter warden too!

So, from all of us behind the scenes, thank you for making it another brilliant summer.

We’re looking forward to welcoming our winter seasonals at the end of October and then doing it all over again next summer! ☀

Linwater Annual Hedge Trim ✅

The hedges have had their annual haircut, the grass has survived, and most importantly… the team are still speaking to each other.

We’ll call that a successful day. 😂

Now to sweep up approximately 47,000 leaves and twigs…🍂
