This year, we’ve taken a huge step forward with our purpose-built Oxted HQ. It’s been a process of working hard, re-investing, and doing the best job possible for our customers.

Whether we’re handling general servicing, Class 7 MOTs, or laser wheel alignment, our goal remains the same: attention to detail that is just right and perfect.

We didn’t start with hydraulic ramps and laser alignment kits. We started in a shed with a concrete floor.

Danny takes us back 15 years to where it all began. No big workshop. No Class 7 lanes. Just a shared barn and a lot of hard graft.

We’ve grown a fair bit since then.

Today, our purpose-built Oxted facility is designed to handle everything from the family run-around to commercial fleets. We built this new site to offer a better, more efficient service, including Class 4 and 7 MOTs (vans up to 3.5t), welding, and proper servicing.

The workshop has changed. The standards haven't.

You’ve got Warner (our self-proclaimed "sweeper-upper"), who believes that because your car carries your family your "most precious thing" doing the job to the highest possible standard is the only option. "Why would you ever not?"

Then there’s Henry, our Director and resident "tea drinker and biscuit eater."

And Danny, keeping the whole operation moving forward.

From the race track to the school run.

I didn’t just wake up one day and decide to fix cars. I slept in a race car bed as a kid. I was absolutely obsessed.

Before I even finished my qualifications, I was working for a race team. When you’re working at that level, everything has to be precise. There is no "that’ll do." If a part fails on the track, the race is over.

We just transfer that same mindset to road cars. It’s a no-brainer for us.

When you drive your car, you’re often carrying your family—your most precious thing. If we have the ability to do the work to the highest possible standard, why would we ever do any less?.

That’s the standard we hold ourselves to at Oxted. Every car, every time.

But at AMR, we don’t sit in an office. We are on the tools every day.
We take the work seriously, but we don’t take ourselves too seriously. Just ask the team:
Warner is the Owner and Director, but he is also the Mechanic and head Sweeper-Upper.
Danny is the Director, but his main job is making sure we cater for every single aspect of your vehicle’s maintenance.
And Henry? He is a Director and Mechanic, but mostly he is just a professional Tea Drinker and Biscuit Eater.
We believe the best way to guarantee the highest standard possible is to do the job ourselves.
