What a pleasure it has been to support Clinton over the past couple of years as he has done what so many dream to do and ride at a competitive level.

Twenty-four years after lifting his last championship title in 2002, Clint Wood has done it again—crowning himself the 2026 BMCRC MRO Retro 1000s Champion at 61 years young!
To win a championship at this level takes speed, grit, and absolute dedication. To do it 24 years after your last title, at 61 years old, and after wrestling a bike around Snetterton with jammed handlebars in the deciding race—that is the mark of a true legend.
This championship is about so much more than points on a board. Riding through the darkest of times with heavy hearts, Clint put in a champion’s performance when it mattered most.
Every lap, every fight on track, and this entire championship trophy is dedicated to Terry. ❤️
