Common fault, but nothing we can’t remedy.
Egr fault, which causes the dpf the block.
We start by putting the emissions rollback software on.
Check all the adaptions then go about putting on our tried and tested stage 1 software along with EGR solution.
We do this at least once a week on some form VAG vehicle.

Adblue Wednesday!

These VW Touareg are actually pretty good cars and aren’t that common with these adblue faults but on this occasion we’ve saved a customer money but also saved his bacon. He‘s supposed to be driving abroad next week, but the part needed for the repair is in on back order at vw. So we’ve done our adblue solution and fixed it for good.
As for these Peugeots they’re one of our most common adblue fixes. We do these engines more than once a week. Again these are actually quite good, just have too much emissions junk added to them. Once all this stuff is turned off they actually run really well.
Our adblue solutions are tried and tested.

Two for Tuesday!
Both in for identical maps on this frosty morning 🥶
They’re both 1.6 tdi 105bhp opting for our stage 1 tuning along with DPF and EGR solutions added.
Dpf both having been opened and sorted properly.
Usual VAG issues rectified properly and should increase engine efficiency.

Another day, another fault.
This time a trade customer complaining of spluttering and loss of power higher up the rev range. Turned out to be a faulty exhaust valve solenoid.
These cars run just fine without them, usually ever so slightly louder.
Anyway we did the fault code delete and added one our stage 1+ maps.

Adblue issues! 💩

It’s becoming a daily occurrence now, a system designed to supposedly bring down emissions and aid dpf cleaning, but all it seems to be doing is causing more and more issues clogging in the system and costing the customer £1000s to repair.
Using our software we are able to disable this system and allow as normal usual at a fraction of the cost to fix it.

We’re back to work!
This was an easy one for a trade customer. Had issues where the dpf wouldn’t regenerate properly and had a feeling someone had played with the software.
So we put on some stock software and found the egr hadn’t been mapped out properly.
This one didn’t opt for our egr solution as it’s in for repairs for a warranty company.
