The carbs on the CBX were relatively simple to remove, once the engine was lowered a few inches. The interiors reveal the problem: stale fuel causes bunged up jets!

Hi there! Not posted for a while, however I have a rare beast in the shop. Its a first year Honda CBX. 1000 cc and six cylinders.

Unfortunately, this is what came out of the carbs when I drained the float bowls. Looks like a carb overhaul is due. This means lowering the engine to remove them.
