The tools are down and the workshop doors are closed today as we’re heading to Dream Machines Events at Laughton Showground! 😎☀️

With the weather looking great and a show packed full of supercars, modified builds, classics, food, and family fun, it’s set to be an amazing 2 day out. 🏎️🔥

✨ Recently we had this lovely Nissan Elgrand in for a head unit upgrade! 🚗

The customer came to us with an aftermarket Android screen already fitted, but it wasn’t performing as it should 😕. Radio reception was limited 📻, and both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto were unreliable 📱⚠️.

We upgraded the system to a Kenwood DMX-F920DS giving the vehicle access to a huge range of digital radio stations 📻✨, seamless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity 📱✅, and importantly, retained the reverse camera functionality 🎥🚘.

Another happy customer enjoying a modern infotainment system that works exactly as it should! 😃🚗📻📱🎶

🔒Another Range Rover Sport Secured!🔒

Recently, we visited a customer to enhance the security of their Range Rover Sport with the installation of an advanced CAN-bus immobiliser.

✅ Automatically arms when the ignition is switched off and the driver’s door is opened

✅ Arming confirmed by two flashes within the vehicle

✅ Disarms via a unique sequence using the vehicle’s existing buttons

✅ No additional fobs, tags, or keypads required but optional if needed.

✅ Protection against key cloning, relay theft, and unauthorised vehicle use.

Once armed, the vehicle will not start until the correct disarm sequence has been entered.

No PIN. No Drive!

We recently completed an installation on this new Peugeot E‑Expert, integrating a reverse camera system through the factory 10-inch display.

The system features dynamic parking guidelines that move in sync with the steering wheel, providing a projected vehicle trajectory to assist with precise manoeuvring. The display also incorporates the vehicle’s parking sensor information, with sensor status clearly shown in the corner of the screen.

To maintain an OEM-style appearance, the reverse camera was discreetly integrated into the high-level brake light housing, replacing the original brake light unit with a combined brake light and camera assembly.

We also installed a Thinkware Q850 front dash camera. Key features include built-in GPS, Energy Saving Mode, HDR recording, Super Night Vision, Thinkware Connected functionality, Time-Lapse recording, and speed camera alerts. The system is fully compatible with hybrid and electric vehicles, making it an excellent choice for modern fleets and private owners alike.
