⚓ Make sure you're tied up well and double your lines
🪣 Bail your boat out
👀 Marina staff will be out checking the boats

✨ Sovereign Shines is back at Sovereign Harbour! ✨
It's time to dig out the fairy lights and get your boat sparkling for the festive season! 🎄⚓
📅 Judging takes place on the evening of Friday 4th December, so make sure your lights are switched on that night to be in with a chance.
🏆 The prizes:
🥇 1st Prize – A lift, pressure wash and re-launch
🥈 2nd Prize – £200 waterfront restaurant voucher
🥉 3 Runner-up Prizes – £100 restaurant voucher each
⚡ Plus, every boat taking part on the night will receive a complimentary £5 electric top-up!

Busy day behind the scenes at Sovereign Harbour today! 🛠️⚓ While the boats come and go, the marina team keep everything shipshape:

🔧 Moving cleats
🪵 Repairing pontoon boards
💦 Jet washing the pontoons
🆘 Installing new SOS safety points

A big thank you to the team for keeping our pontoons safe, clean and ready for us all. 👏

Evening falls over Sovereign Harbour 🌅

The sky put on a proper show tonight: violet overhead, fading through pink to a band of gold behind the rooftops and masts. The lock gates are quiet, the water's gone glassy, and the boats are tucked in for the night. Eastbourne doesn't get much better than this.

Yesterday 10 boats took part in the annual Commodore's Sail Past, saluting the Commodore aboard the club boat Jebbs as they passed. A proper old yacht club tradition, and a great turnout on the water.
