Established in Arundel in 1908, originally as a bicycle sales and repair business, Hares of Sussex are now based at the Roundstone Garage in North Lane, East Preston. The return to East Preston in December 2014 was something of a "coming home" for the company, having successfully operated a British Leyland/Rover franchise from the same premises in the 1960's, 1970's and 1980's. Hares now specialise in sale and service of all types of cars and we maintain around 45 used cars in stock that have been prepared to the highest standards. The after sales department offer a full range of value for money servicing for virtually all makes of car including diagnostics, MOT testing, tyres, batteries, exhausts and general repairs. The business continues to offer a much more personal service than many of the bigger franchised dealer groups, and the majority of the staff have been with the company for many years. Our friendly staff are always happy to offer advice on any aspect of your motoring needs ranging from the smallest possible repair to the possibility of purchasing a new car.
