On the hunt for a a vehicle on a campsite in Yorkshire after the customer accidentally filled up with the wrong fuel, got back to their holiday home and realised their mistake of putting diesel into their petrol Citroen C1.

Misfuel jobs in Yorkshire, Cumbria and in the North East. (1) - We dispatched a Misfuel Tech to attend a Ford Transit Custom due to the operator accidentally putting AdBlue in the fuel tank. Luckily the customer realised his mistake before starting the van. We attended within 90 mins and completed the job. (2) - A customer called in Yorkshire after he accidentally put petrol into his diesel vehicle and came to a stop on a lay-by. Our Yorkshire technician was dispatched to attend within the hour and job was completed. (3) - A customer in Darlington mistakenly put diesel into their petrol car. The nearest technician we had was Durham. Took our tech 40 mins to get to this customer and the job was completed.

Forecourt Assist are the North East’s, Cumbria and Yorkshire’s leading mobile fuel drain company, we offer mobile fuel drain services to customers who have mistakenly filled up their cars with the wrong fuel.
We require a mobile vehicle technician with good mechanical knowledge to join our team helping assist our existing Misfuel technicians. Specific fuel draining experience is not required as full training and a comprehensive induction will be provided however mechanical automotive knowledge is needed.
The successful candidate will be provided with fully certified equipment, installed in a company vehicle and you will be enthusiastic about delivering a first class service for our customers. We work with many of the leading breakdown operators and insurance providers across the UK.
Your job role - You'll work from your home address on a mobile basis covering a wide region of the North East / Cumbria and Yorkshire assisting our Misfuel Network across the UK. This position will suit people who enjoy working with cars & light vehicles. When a customer fills up with the wrong you a job will be dispatched to your mobile phone provided, you will attend the location and carry out removing the wrong fuel from the vehicle getting the vehicle back up and running and allowing the customer to continue on with their journey.
Basic Pay per month with volume incentives, working a “2 days ON CALL” (basic pay) “1 day ON STANDBY” incentives and then relax with your 2 days off - rota of days on / off with flexibility and the opportunity to work overtime. This job role includes nights / weekends on a 24hr / 7 days a week rota.
Job Type: Full Time / Part Time
Requirements: Valid driving licence | driving work | experience and a good level of mechanical knowledge with cars / vans / motorbikes and HGV.

Responsibilities�- Perform roadside fuel draining services on-site for customers whether this be on a forecourt, by the roadside or at the customer’s home/workplace. �- Utilize mechanical knowledge to safely drain fuel from casualty vehicles.�- Drive to customer(s) locations to provide efficient and timely service.�- Follow established procedures for fuel draining operations.�- Maintain a valid driver's license and adhere to road safety regulations.

We are aware of the reports that a Fuel Station in County Durham has Contaminted fuel within their fuel station (Diesel) where Many vehicles have been affected. The fuel station is aware of this and they have responded with their actions. We currently have Fuel Drain vehicles on scene assisting a few customers.
