⚽ Matchday Round-Up – Crumlin Star 2018s 💚🤍
Another weekend of football, learning and development for the boys, with some brilliant performances and plenty of positives to take away!
🔹 Ballyclare Comrades Colts – Draw
A brilliant end-to-end game of football between two good sides. The boys were solid at the back, moved the ball really well and had some excellent spells throughout the game. A strong team performance with plenty of positives to build on.
🔹 Woodvale FC – WIN 💚🤍
The boys carried that same form into our second game, and this time the goals came! We used the pitch brilliantly, moved the ball well and were dominant throughout. It was great to see the lads playing with confidence and making the right decisions in possession. A well-deserved win!
🔹 Donegal Celtic Youth FC – LOSS
A game that brought mixed emotions. At times, we felt we were the better team, but a lack of concentration and missed chances proved costly. Donegal Celtic took advantage early on, and although the boys fought their way back into the game, we left ourselves with too much to do and ultimately lost by a goal.
💚🤍 The Bigger Picture
The results are only part of the story. What really stands out is the development these boys are showing week after week. The way they’re moving the ball, finding space and putting into practice what we’re working on at training is brilliant to see.
That doesn’t happen overnight. It comes from hard work, listening, learning and putting the effort in every week. We’re proud of the progress they’re making, and there’s still so much more to come from this group!
A massive thank you, as always, to our sponsor Accident Assist NI for their continued support. Your support is greatly appreciated! 👏
