Wild wind and seas 🌊 today meant cancelling many passengers. Whilst it was the right and only responsible call be assured it weighs heavy on me 😔
Birthdays, family visits, special occasions, travelling from afar. I value your custom and feel the impact 🫶
See video of conditions in comments.

My tiny violin 🎻 also thinks of the impact on our wee business. This year has not been kind! On the plus side though after a ‘dry’ period our dolphin have been very active today and yesterday. Throwing themselves about in the storm and riding the boats wake. Here’s the best of today in conditions that I couldn’t have taken you out in ♥️ I’m sure the jumper is one we nicknamed ‘Marble Belly’ last year who I’m told by a pal Jo is ‘Riptide’. A really impressive and agile beast 😲

📸 by us today. Giving myself a strong 8-10 given the conditions 😊

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT 📢
Tomorrow Warship Duncan will have a Gun Salute for the Kings B-day at 12 noon. If you like big boats I’d recommend you get down City Quay for a look-see 👀

Today with 40mph winds on the road bridge was far too rough for customers so we had to cancel trips. To those I am sorry but having gone out myself I can assure you it was very much the right decision 🌊 🌊

At the invite of Forth Ports I was given an opportunity to go and film/ photograph HMS Duncan, a type 45 destroyer arriving today. What a sight and we had a welcoming party of 🐬🐬🐬🐬 A truly impressive sight in the rough seas ♥️
I hope the hardworking crew get some r+r and enjoy their stay in Dundee 🫶

Named after Admiral Adam Duncan, HMS Duncan (D37) is the sixth and final Type 45 Daring-class destroyer built for the Royal Navy and entered service in 2013. At 152.4 metres (500 ft) long and displacing around 7,350 tonnes, she is one of the largest and most capable destroyers ever operated by the UK. Designed primarily for air defence, HMS Duncan uses the advanced Sea Viper missile system and Sampson radar, capable of tracking and engaging multiple aerial threats at long range. She carries a ship’s company of more than 200 personnel, can operate a Merlin helicopter, and has served on operations from the Mediterranean and Black Sea to the Persian Gulf and NATO deployments. The Royal Navy describes her as one of the most advanced warships in the world.
