Had this mokka in for damage to the door

When the body lines take a hit it’s really important to get those lines back to mimic the factory shape.I always use a guide coat and sometimes even pens to draw the line I want to work with.The more help you can give yourself the more accurate the finish is

Even smaller repairs take time and accuracy.every repair is unique and your always working with different types of panels and shapes

And as always it’s best to blend out that Colour for 100% match and for an invisible repair process

Integra dc2 getting some work done to the rear arch today

Luckily this JDM shell is in great condition and no arch replacement is needed for a change

It did have some bad previous repairs and work done so I Stripped off the paint,filler and re did the quarter panel

The Nissan primera needed a few sections made

The worst was both back pockets on the lower quarter panels had rotted through

The rear chassis leg needed cut out and a new piece made with thicker steel

Both sills had a few holes in them

Floor pan had a hole on each side too

Once the welding was done I seam sealed over the joints and undersealed the full car.the overall condition of the chassis is really good so this should keep it going for years to come!

Couple of 90’s survivors dropped off this week

The wee Suzuki is such a cool car.It’s in for a light restoration so it will be an interesting build,welding work and full respray! It’s all about bringing it back to a good standard and keeping it alive for many years to come

The Nissan primera is just as rare these days,can’t remember the last time I seen one of these but i did own one for a year when I lived in Australia and it served me well! Such a reliable,well build Japanese car that just aren’t made like this anymore.its in for welding work and a good tidy up underneath,Got to keep these old cars going!

Here’s a big job am just about finishing up here

Lovely old civic that was unfortunately involved in an accident.

the sill and floor pan were badly pushed in
Front lip snapped
Side skirts snapped
Rear bumper and lip damaged
Front bumper damaged
Bottom of the Door took a bad hit

I decided to cut out the damage and fabricated a new sill and floor section up

The door needed some metal work but it pulled out really nicely

The rear bumper needed plastic welded due to a crack at the top and the lip needed fitting and bonding on

Lots of time consuming jobs but the car is looking absolutely mint now and I ll

Had this lovely old mustang in last week for some work

The front bumper had lots of scuffs and damage so it was best to remove the full bumper to get right into all the awkward Areas

Both side skirts had sinkage and lacquer peel

All 4 trim mouldings had damage to them

What a difference it made to the car.looks so
Much fresher,ready to attend some shows now as the rest of the body is in great condition!

Just to let people know that’s me back from my holidays last night and am starting back to work as normal on Monday morning

Got loads of big jobs coming in over the next few months which am looking forward to getting stuck into!

I ll reply to all my messages over the past 4 weeks while I have been away and get the bookings up to date!
