Job description
Overview
We are seeking a reliable and friendly Driver/Valeter to join our team. This role involves valeting vehicles following completion of repairs, collecting and delivering customers vehicles to and from the workshop, checking vehicles in and out marking all existing damage, general maintenance / house keeping in the workshop and yard. The ideal candidate will possess excellent customer service skills, be able to work well in a team, hold a valid driving license for more than 3 years with no endorsements and must be over the age of 25 for insurance purposes.

Responsibilities
• Valeting vehicles after completion of repairs
• Collecting/delivering vehicles to and from the garage
• Check vehicles in and out noting any pre existing damage, milage, fuel
• Ability to work and drive outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Ensure the workshop and parking areas remains organised
• Facilitate smooth entry and exit of vehicles during busy periods
• Ability to communicate effectively with visitors and team members

Qualifications
• Valid driving license held for at least 3 years with a clean driving record

This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working outdoors, have a proactive attitude, and are committed to providing excellent service.

Hours are 42.5 hours per week which consist of 8am - 5pm Monday to Friday

Rate of pay is £12.50 per hour and will be paid monthly

Job Types: Permanent

Pay: £12.50 per hour

Expected hours: 42.5 per week

Work Location: Dundee

Join us as an Vehicle Damage Assessor / Estimator at our busy workshop in Dundee
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Vehicle Damage Assessor to join us.
As part of a team of professionals you will undertake the inspection of damaged vehicles, assessing the full extent of the damage, costs of repair and timeframes. An important aspect of this job is to identify the correct prescribed repair method and prepare, record and maintain records of electronic and manual estimates. You will then liaise effectively with insurance companies to obtain their authority to repair the vehicle at the costs estimated. You will also effectively liaise with customers, engineers and technicians to explain and ensure they understand the repair methodology. An understanding of Thatcham Repair Methods and BSi safety standards is paramount.
In the job of Vehicle Damage Assessor, you will be responsible for assessing many different vehicles. This means keeping up to date with all repair methodologies and it is also important for you as a Vehicle Damage Assessor to fully understand different insurers and manufacturers literature and bulletins. Another very important aspect of the job is teamwork as you will be working with other colleagues in the bodyshop as well as across other functional areas. Your aim is to ensure we get their vehicle back on the road safely and in quick time.
Ideally you are qualified to NVQ level 3/City & Guilds or ATA / IMI qualified with a solid Bodyshop background. You will also require a full UK driving licence
