EML on, stability control light on, ADAS lights on.

Narrowed it down to a faulty injector.
Injector replaced, coded, and all faults are gone.

This turbocharged MX5 came to us suffering with coolant loss and overheating.

A block test quickly confirmed that combustion gases were making their way into the cooling system.

After removing the cylinder head, our suspicions were vindicated with visible signs of head gasket failure.

New gaskets were fitted.
Cylinder head skimmed and pressure tested.
Full service carried out.

Big job complete ✅️

The owner of this B16 Honda Civic felt it didn't quite have the get up and go he wanted

We suggested a K swap, but they were insistent on keeping the B series, so we settled for adding a turbocharger instead

With an unknown history on this engine we refreshed it with new bearings, seals, gaskets, belts, and whatever else needed replacing along the way along with synchros, hubs, sliders, and bearings in the gearbox as it was difficult to select gears with frequent crunching
We pieced together and fitted a complete turbo kit, including fabricating a 3" turbo back exhaust

The car was tuned by us running on a Hondata S300

It made 306 hp at 10psi

Now with an almost 100% power increase, I'm sure the owner will be very happy

Peugeot 106 Rallye in with us to have some leaky parts replaced.

We actually recovered this car to another garage recently to have the fuel lines replaced, but they were too busy to sort the additional work, and the customer was happy for us to do it.

We replaced a CV boot, drive shaft seal, gearbox end seal, and brake master cylinder. The customer wanted the servo replacing as well, but we couldn't find a new replacement anywhere, so we offered to clean it up and repaint it.
