OFFICIAL STATEMENT – SUNFLOWER RACES

It is with great regret that we announce the cancellation of this weekend’s Sunflower Races due to the forecasted storm conditions.

This decision has not been taken lightly. Following a lengthy period of deliberation and careful consideration of the forecast and the safety of everyone involved, the Club has reached the difficult conclusion that the event cannot go ahead.

We understand the disappointment this news will bring to our riders, teams, sponsors, officials, volunteers and spectators, particularly given the work and preparation that goes into an event of this scale. We sincerely thank everyone for their continued support and understanding.

Full refunds will be processed to all those who have paid in due course. We ask for your patience while these are arranged.

Thank you for your support of the Sunflower Races.

Yours in Sport,
Hillsborough and District Motorcycle Club

SUNFLOWER RACES 2026 | SPECTATOR INFORMATION 🏁

Race week is finally here! We’re looking forward to welcoming everyone to Bishopscourt for a fantastic weekend of racing.

🎟️ SPECTATOR TICKETS
• Weekend ticket: £30
• Sunday only ticket: £20

We’ve seen your comments regarding spectator ticket options, and we want you to know that we do take your feedback on board.

Last year, we offered a weekend pass only, with no single day tickets available. We’ve listened to your feedback and, this year, we’ve introduced a Sunday only ticket, giving spectators the option to come along for the day featuring the main Sunflower Race.

Our spectator ticket prices have remained the same as last year, despite the increasing costs involved in running the event. We’re committed to keeping the Sunflower Races accessible while continuing to attract top class riders from across the UK and internationally to compete alongside our local talented riders helping us deliver the exciting racing that everyone comes to see.

We’re always looking for ways to grow the sport and improve the racing and entertainment we offer our spectators. Your support and feedback are important to us, and we’ll continue working hard to make the Sunflower Races an event everyone looks forward to.
