Join a well-established, local independent car dealership

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester to join our friendly, professional team at our well-established independent car dealership.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced technician who takes pride in their work and is looking to become part of a successful local business.

The ideal candidate

We are looking for someone who:

* Has 3+ years’ experience working as a Vehicle Technician
* Is a fully qualified MOT Tester
* Has strong mechanical diagnostic and repair skills
* Has auto electrical experience and is confident diagnosing electrical faults
* Can work independently and as part of a small team
* Takes pride in producing a high standard of workmanship
* Is reliable, professional and has a positive attitude
* Has a good eye for detail and a genuine passion for vehicles

The role

Your responsibilities will include:

* Carrying out servicing, maintenance and repairs across a range of vehicles
* MOT testing
* Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical faults
* Using diagnostic equipment to identify faults
* Preparing vehicles for sale and ensuring they meet our high standards
* Carrying out general workshop duties as required
