TIME HAS COME FOR ME NOW TO HANG UP MY L PLATES!

After many enjoyable years teaching and helping folk with their driving, it's my time to relax. In other words I'M RETIRING. 😀
So as from January I will become a man of leisure. 🏌‍♂️🚶⚽️ 🦅

I would like to take the opportunity to thank everyone who has given me the pleasure (in most cases) of teaching them to drive. You all know who you are and I'm sure you're all loving the independence that being able to drive has given you.
Enjoy your driving and forever stay safe on the road. 🚕 🚗 🚕 🚗 🚕

This is serious. Please read and sign if you are thinking about learning to drive.
You cannot currently book a driving test up anywhere now unless you are extremely lucky and get a cancellation, because of the backlog due to the lockdown. The suggestion made in this petition may be the only way back to some sort of normality when it comes to booking a driving test. Again please RED AND SIGN. Thank you so much.

Dept. for Transport to publish emergency measures to ensure that all driving test (Cat B) candidates have a minimum number of ADI hours registered and sign off to above and that candidate has been assessed (by ADI) to be of minimum standard to pass their test.

You may have been unlucky yesterday or today if you were due to take a driving test and had it cancelled because of an examiners dispute with the DVSA. I say this kind of thing should be sorted out internally and not to involve other people. Pupils now face a long wait before they can take another test which is very demoralising especially to young people. I have a pupil now who has had a new date of January 13th given him. That's eight weeks! Quite unacceptable I think. Shame on those involved.

Driving examiners and vehicle examiners are planning to take strike action at various times on Thursday 19 and Friday 20 November 2015.
