Your incredible donations of wool have given us the materials we need, and we are now raising funds to ensure this project can reach as many families as possible through our JustGiving page

Neonatal babies at East Surrey Hospital in Redhill need specialised, small knitwear for warmth and comfort during their early days. By donating to this page, you are helping us cover the costs of the wool to get these handmade gifts into the hands of the families who need them most.

2005 Mercedes C220 CDI Avantgarde SE Auto Estate - £2,500.

Good condition for age – few age-related marks but nothing major.
Full black leather interior.
We’re a service and MOT garage and have owned this vehicle for 3.5 years. It’s had very light use as a staff pool car. I have a pile of maintenance invoices for it, including 5 service invoices, also have a service book for it - most of the service history is there but it’s not ‘full’. We bought it from another garage in 2019 who had taken it as a trade-in… we did a lot of work to suspension and brakes and it had a major service when we got it (has only done 14k miles since then). It drives really nicely and is a nice spec, including factory upgrade Sport alloy wheels. Will do an oil change if it goes for full price.

The vehicle has just had a cylinder head recon with new timing chain and oil service. There are a few age-related marks to the paintwork but overall, it’s in good condition.
Excellent spec as Laurin & Klement special edition.
Full leather interior.
Air con re-gassed recently.

There’s a real issue with the theft of catalytic converters and diesel particulate filters at the moment. Especially in more rural towns and villages, where police presence is less prevalent.

The valuable precious metals inside such parts make them a prime target for crime.

Even having to replace units with aftermarket products can be a huge cost, let alone with genuine manufacturer parts. The cost of replacement can be in the reigon of £2000-£6000 depending on the make and model of vehicle 😳

Thieves can cut them off from underneath the vehicle in a matter of seconds. This video from the Met Police showcases how quickly it can happen.

Of course, fully comprehensive insurance policies would cover such theft, but the insurance premium would rise unless there’s a protected no claims discount in place ☹️

We’re currently looking in to a range of security solutions for our customers vehicles.

It’s amazing to think that Tutts has been run by three generations of our family, and Queen Elizabeth II held the throne for all of those years, and more.
The founder of Tutts, my Grandad, Raymond Walter Tutt (Jim) was born in the same year as the Queen, just a month after. But sadly passed away in 1997.
What an amazing lady - a lifetime of sacrifice, and dedication to something she never chose to do. She’s a true inspiration 🤍

I’m sure many of us have experienced the comical dangers of keyless entry… including getting to the shop and realizing you left your keys in the kitchen when you rushed back in the house to grab your purse 🤦‍♀️
