Sorry, long post alert.
I don’t post personal details on social media as a rule, mainly because my private life is just that. Private.
Facebook and Instagram have been a platform to share my involvement with the Mercedes Benz Club and the social aspect that it affords.
But as some of you know, my health has been in decline over the last 6 years or so and this last few months it has taken a bit of nosedive.
What with being rushed into the ED twice in the space of a month, developing Sepsis has a result of a procedure and now a scan showing a lesion on my Pancreas. All this whilst waiting for so-called urgent surgery to remove 90% of my Prostate.
Being stuck at home with no energy, strength, loss of appetite and concentration to do anything productive has had me sitting (or lying whichever is more comfortable at the time) “doom scrolling” for hours.
So after this weekend, I’ve decided to remove ALL my social media accounts, to concentrate on both my physical and mental wellbeing. I’ve saved all those of you that follow me or are friends on Facebook and I will be back, once I’ve been given the all clear and my mental, emotional and physical health are back where they should be.
