Busy week as usual, plenty done on Paul’s new build 2007 . Even with brand new parts we’ve still had some corrective machining to complete. Top the week off with 1st power up of the Stuska dyno .

Busy day in the workshop today, on a Sunday, can only mean one thing . Progress on our new machine installation. More later .

If you’re building a stroker engine, one of the many things to check is the cam lobe to crank counter weight. We check this prior to balancing the crank assembly.

A single type 4 head with a destroyed valve seat helping to keep the machine shop busy . Welded, new seat fitted and angle cut , quick skim to true up the chamber.

Paul’s 2007 cc brand new build type 1 at the pre inspection stage . New parts have the same attention paid to them as a used item . We move onto the machine work and balancing next , all in house . Aiming for this to be the first engine on our Stuska dyno .

When you just can’t the right part , in the right quantities, what else do you do . Make your own of course. 25 hp cylinder head barrel nuts for a very early Kubblewagon. Made a few spares if anyone needs a few .

Not had a lot of opportunity to post up on here lately, never known a busy period like it . Machining has been off the charts with balancing cranks , cylinder head refurbs , cases , cases and more cases . Some of our engine builds coming along at pace now . Big road trip tomorrow for some new exciting equipment.

Why settle for one custom made cam when you can have 2 . This is for a spicy type 4 engine . Ground from a chilled iron blank .

It’s great to hear back from customers about their travels powered by one of our engines. Mark recently made a 1200km round trip to HO26 with his oval and teardrop . He’s reported a faultless performance with his 25hp Okrasa motor, built right here at Reichspeed
