We’d just like to reassure all of our customers following today’s Humberside Police update that our business is not connected in any way to the incident reported on Station Road, Haxey.

We are aware that the property involved is close to us, and we understand some people may have questions. However, the police investigation relates to a completely separate property and has no association with our business, our staff, or our operations.

We remain open and are continuing to operate as normal. We’d like to thank all of our customers for their continued support and understanding.

Two men have been arrested and remain in custody following the discovery of five stolen motor vehicles in an outbuilding at commercial property in Haxey.

Following reports of a vehicle being stolen, enquires located the car at an address on Station Road, Haxey. Upon officers attending the scene, four further vehicles reported as stolen were located at the premises as well as car parts believed to be involved in criminality.

A 57-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of theft of a motor vehicle, and a 40-year-old man was also arrested on suspicion of handling stolen goods. Both remain in police custody assisting with enquiries at this time.

A scene guard remains in place, and an increased police presence will be in the area over the coming days.

Officers investigating this discovery are appealing to anyone in the Haxey area who may have seen suspicious activity over the past few weeks to report this and contact us on our non-emergency number 101 quoting log 119 of 15 July.
