She’s not dropped a drip all night which means the suspected oil leak is very likely accumulated chain l**e and grime collected behind the front sprocket and cover and when hot drip feeding the garage floor.

After the service a test ride will reveal more but right now it’s looking good.

A constant debate at the shop is my insistence on not throwing away anything that “might be useful” and we have a skip worth of stuff that’ll disappear this winter as it’s taking up valuable space.

But I’m in need of a handlebar clamp to finish off Tom’s Ducati ST4S and with parts on order that won’t land until I’ve flown out of the country it was sad times indeed.
But then lo and behold 🥳🤩

In that pile of sh*te ready to be skipped….voila ✨

The third clamp tried is a perfect fit, although it has a mirror mount it’s definitely up to the job and a good temporary solution.

Now, will the skies turn blue for a spin out to try her out or do I need to get my Latex suit out to keep me sexy and dry?
