Hi everyone, after 5 1/2 years, and thousands of tyres and innertubes sold, its time for us to call it a day. the business is still making money, but its not easy to run when you've got an important full time job and competition is much stiffer now than it was when we we're the first independent fat tyre seller in the UK.
as such we'd rather bow out gracefully and let someone else take the reins.
But we bow out having redefined the price point for Fat Tyres and innertubes, dropping the average fat tyre cost from more than £60 a tyres as defined by kenda and vee tyre at the time, to less than £35. cutting more than 2/5ths from the average price of a tyre in the UK.
in 2021 we were the first independent importer of 20x4 innertubes in the UK. as the fat tyre boom grew we were the one place you could always get tubes from, and worked hard to meet demand for the first 2 years.
in 2022 we worked with a manufacturer to make our own innertubes for the first time the C-FS was and probably still is the best fat tyre innertube in the world.

naturally we're going out with one last big bang (probably like your last innertube). we're having a closing down Sale. with prices slashed across our entire inventory. if we weren't the cheapest we will be now. prices have been set just to cover our costs so check out our ebay store and dukestyres.com

1st of April Marks 5 years In Business for Dukes.
We are the first independent Fat Tyre Provider In The UK, only picking the Best Quality Fat Tyres and Innertubes. Our C-FS Innertubes finally provided a Great Quality innertube with all the fixtures and fittings. Our Alectra bike tyes was the toughest on road bike Tyre on the market and garnered fans from around the world. all priced at a fair and affordable price for you, us and our suppliers. the market has shifted and we've always tried to stay one step ahead.

So thankyou for your continued support, it genuinely means alot as we enter our 5th year. i'm gonna look at doing a flash sale in the next few week to mark our 5th birthday, so if you are in need of a new tyre or innertube. keep your eyes peeled.

Happy New Year Everyone From Dukes Tyres And Tubes.

Were Kicking off 2026 with a Bang, I've just Finished inspecting a fresh Batch of Dukes Alektras, which we have just placed up for sale.

I'm Very Keen to keep Dukes at the forefront of the Fat Tyre Market, so we've already got a fresh range of new designs on their way to us now. more news to come soon, but we will be buying these tyres in smaller batches just to test the market. so keep your eyes on us for something special.

Some Good news Though, as it stands at the moment, I have no issue with our current Pricing and have decided not to raise any of our products prices for the first half of 2026, our current pricing reflects some of the cheapest prices in the UK and but still allows us still to facilitate the best possible Customer service.

Just our annual reminder to double check your tyre pressures as we head into the Autumn. the cold decreases pressure in your innertube, Low pressure is more likely to cause a flat. combine that with the increased debris on our cycle routes this time of year means a puncture is much more likely.

Its been a long hot and busy summer this year here at Dukes, we've been looking at a whole range of new options. we're restocking this week on the run into Christmas.

Summer feels like it's been here for months, and you lot must agree because everyone seems to be out on their bikes right now. We're having a great time here helping new customers, we've received a boat load of new taster tyres from our suppliers all seem to be more on road tyres. They are being offered to us in 26x4 20x4 and 20x3 They would suit me as I ride 99% on road, but what do you think? Should we stock any of these designs?

It's also looking like we're gonna have to close shop this weekend for a few days. The first time in over a year that we've not had someone to cover the post and packing desk. But don't worry normal service will resume Monday 21st of July.

Very Happy to have just collected a hand full of very rare Vee Tire Speedsters in 20x4.

These were the OG on road tyre on early fat tyre bikes, and marked a definitive change in design away from purely off road and gravel style tyres that were all you could get at the time.

offering great grip and confidence inspiring handling they are still highly sort after to this day.

we've managed to acquire some of the white-walled tires, which were non folding. the thicker sidewall and higher quality rubber makes these the best quality speedsters that vee tyre makes. the don't suffer from the same faults and issues that the folding models seem to suffer from.

Dukes Alektra's are arguably our best Tyre. I love them it's what I ride on every day. The low rolling resistance and noise dampening tread mean they're quiet and efficient. The 60a grade rubber offers a far more resilient Tyre than most of our competitors

I have been looking at broadening our range of options for a while and finally managed to find products I liked that I felt were worthy of selling in the UK, some of you might recognise the treat pattern. These are our LZRS(20x3) and DXL(26x4) tyres based on our dynamis (20x4) tread pattern. offer great grip in all conditions and outstanding puncture protection.

Celebrating the end of our 4th year in Business, I realise that we've picked up a lot of new customers this last Year and I'd really rather Dukes not become another faceless business. So let me introduce myself.

My name's Graham Konstandelos, I'm a lecturer and trainer for the railway and I'm the owner of Dukes Tyres and Tubes. I live in Doncaster with my partner and two dogs Fifi and Trixie.

I started the business in April 2021 to provide fat tyres and Innertubes to the emerging fat tyre market, after I realised how difficult it was to buy spares in the UK.

we started with a box of 10 Innertubes and have turned it into a business which now sells thousands of tyres and Innertubes to fat tyres riders and bicycle businesses across the UK, Europe and America.

We are now selling tyres and Innertubes across the 20x3 20x4 and 26x4 fat tyre platforms.

I also held onto the ethos of quality, communication and only selling products that I use on my own fat tyre Bikes.
