We don’t just do full conversions we also do part conversions to help the diy van projects along the way, especially when it comes to seats and safety being the van to us, we’re specialists for a reason. This customer was even shocked when we sent over the sample cards for flooring as they thought it was just going to be plain ply wood on the floor so our prices must be extremely well priced as he was over the moon with the end product and ready to start the next part of the conversion💯🪚👀

Nice simple in and out job on this van💯

We fitted a pair of windows one being opening and one being fixed ready for the customer to self convert his van into a camper🪚🛠️

He had started a little bit of carpet work but wasn’t sure if he was gonna rip it off and start again ect so we just pulled it back slightly and cut the holes out, we did edge the window just in case he decides to not carpet it again but if he does he can just remove the edging and tuck the carpet💯

These vans with this type of seat are such a very good combination which also is very budget friendly as the van you get more for your money compared to other vans and then the seats are an absolute steal at the prices we can get them for and the end overall product is as good as say a Ford custom or a vw transporter💯

These vans are a little bit of a pain in the arse to convert as there isn’t any roof bows that we can fix a roof to and for it to run true and flat, we have came up with a solution and that’s why we can get our one piece roof panels to sit absolutely true and flat to the van roof, not only that but we actually carpet over the plastic loom covers to give it the complete look just go compare one of ours to the rest of the companies out there. Also another main issue is the seat belt mounting point for the belts the lower two are there but the upper isn’t and you can’t just fit it to a nutsert/rivnut it has to be done correctly as in a crash the impact will put load on the seatbelt at the top mount which needs to be strong this is why we have bespoke made anchors made that we mount inside the pillar for maximum load spread which makes for maximum safety💯👀

WE’RE BACK AND ON THE CATCHUP‼️

VW transporter SWB another returning customer again for a crew cab but instead of a custom with tourneo seats it’s this lovely transporter with a Ford custom factory crew cab bench seat👀

We’re the UK’s number 1 seat specialists done right and can almost with certain get most seats to fit the vans we build on💯

The factory bench seat is a tight squeeze but we made it work and looks very unique🤪

THE BUILD:

2x fixed privacy glass✅

12mm flooring sealed down not screwed✅

Black altro flooring✅

Factory style deep step threshold✅

12mm ply wood bulkhead✅

Half bulkhead cut down and carpet lined✅

2x twin usb/type c charging sockets✅

2x black shell led down lights operated by doors✅

Carpet lined in anthracite✅

Fully sealed up and taped as usual✅

Ply lining that came in the van re cut to fit behind the new conversion just for the boot area✅

This van came straight from the body shop to us and was leaving our workshop to go straight to the upholstery shop for the next stage that’s why the seat is so dirty ect (body shop) and the passenger captain seat missing👀

Another vw transporter leaving us professionally done with none of this re using the cheap hard board panels and especially with no trim clips on show. we don’t re-use we bespoke hand build every van no matter the condition and fitment of existing ply panels as they’re never to our standard and the end product shows💯

This week we’ve got a previously converted van from a actual company yes hard to believe that this is the standard across many van conversion companies🥲😳😱

It has come to us to have 3 seats fitted, bulkhead removed and lower half refitted, opening window to O/S, led down lights, charging sockets and a General tidy up📸

This conversion if you can even call it that is so poor it’s unbelievable, poorly fitted panels, wiring that’s not protected and half connected, roof sagging, carpet lining in a million sections bodged together🫣

Floor screwed down with 1 1/2 screws🫣

Lino not fully glued down and pieced in🫣

Joints in floor not filled and sanded🫣

Panels held in with no more than 6 screws🫣

Cheap tatty screw caps🫣

Poorly finished carpet🫣

Wiggly worms/wrinkles in the carpet throughout🫣

Live wires just left unprotected and not connect other end🫣🔥

The end result of this will be posted tomorrow but let’s just say it’s a dam sight better than it was, ideally it needed ripping out and re doing completely but the customer was happy to try and save as much as possible and keep the costs down💯

It’s actually a shame that companies can charge such amounts to give you this type of end product, we’re one of the uk’s cheapest conversions which includes everything none of this starting price and then having to add ply lining insulation ect everything is included in ours and just because we’re priced as we are doesn’t mean we lack in price and perfection there isn’t another company that completes these type of conversions to our standards. 1 week build slots which ensures perfection is made in each and every build we do none of the 2 days on your driveway with standard poorly fitting cnc ply lining kits these are professional conversions done to the highest of standards💯

Seat rails fully flushed into a solid ply wood flooring which is sealed down and not screwed and finished off with all end caps for the rails that have been cut✅

Smoke carpet lining✅

Black altro walkway flooring✅

Half bulkhead trimmed, with under seat storage flap still useable✅

2x twin usb/type c charging sockets to bulkhead✅

Rear camera wire had been run across the roof and into a existing hole in the upper N/S structure of the van so we protected it taped it up and carpeted over it it’s now barely noticeable👀

Full size sliding door panel with window cut out, framed from the back to not only strengthen but to close the gap into the opening window slides for a neat tidy install, back side also trimmed so no wood is viable through the opening or window

2 lower quarter panels for a transit custom, being trimmed in smoke carpet, all returns have relief cuts in and once wrapped all edges trimmed back and neatened up for the completed finish

We always draw round our flooring onto the backside of the altro flooring adding around half an inch to get it something like and then cut it in once it’s laid in the van, all panels are sealed in to prevent any squeaks/rattles and also gives the panel a drum sound affect just little things that make us stand out from the rest💯💯
