One of the lads finally got a car he's wanted for a while, and what a pretty thing it is.

Totally stock car so the stage one was perfect.
Just the right amount of power and torque without upsetting anything.

*BWM M4 Competition 3.0 2017*

A visit to Mr Transit this morning to tune his gorgeous M4 Competition 😍

This one was tunable via ODB🙏

Evolved tuning stage 1

450bhp > 500bhp

550nm > 680nm

Mike is going for around 700bhp+ with a pure turbo set up but he couldn't say no to being a remap away from the 500bhp club for now😏

Mike has been one of our good costumers for years now, we do all his tunes for his business.

*BWM M4 Competition 3.0 2019*

One of our good friends finally had his beautiful M4 turned up!

We had previous been to tune the vehicle last week revealing that this model needed to have the ecu unlocked via bench before tuning.

The ecu location on these are in a little bit more of an awkward place and its located under the inlet.

Luckily by removing the charge cooler and a few little bits you can gain access to the ecu plugs, it is a 2-3 hour job to remove the inlet so we were glad this could be avoided.

The ecu has now been patched allowing for obd read/write in the future.

After the test drive Dan commented on how the car felt saying it had completely changed the car in everyway, from throttle response to power delivery.
(he was trying to hide the smile as he pulled back in but couldn't😂)

AUDI R8 V10 2008 😍

We had the pleasure of working on this beautiful car❤️
Previously tuned be MRC Tuning.

Customer had developed a couple of error codes due to lambda sensors failures.
As the car is tuned by MRC Tuning the customer understandably didn't was to lose his tune.
Most of the tools on the market today can tune this vehicle via obd but only gives you a virtual read which in turn would lose the tune after modification.
With this particular ecu version a full read via obd is not avaliable.
The only way to read is via boot mode.
This car also has two ecu's which are hidden behind all that beautiful carbon fibre so of course you have to be extra carful removing the carbon covers.

All errors removed and a happy customer.

VOLKSWAGEN GOLF GTI TSI PERFORMANCE 2019

ECU + TCU Package

Evolved tuning Stage 1

245bhp > 300bhp

360nm > 450nm torque

The customer got in touch as the car already had a tdituning box fitted and wanted the car tuning without it.
Although tuning boxes can add performance and can sometimes be the only way if the car/ecu is not yet available to tune, a custom tune will always be better. The way the tuning box works is to intervene after the ECU, they usually plug in to 2 or more sensors to alter the readings.
As you can imagine, when we tune a vehicle we adjust a bit more than 2 or 3 maps.

Even though this was a tsi performance model with a tuning box, the customer still felt the difference everywhere.

As I've said many times before, a stage 1 and a gearbox tune really does bring these tsi/dsg setups to life!

VOLKSWAGEN GOLF GTI MK1😍

We had the pleasure of doing a bit of ecu work on this little beauty.

So as you can probably tell its running the 1.8T, with the customer doing a real nice clean install a few things had been removed from the engine (secondary air pump system, n249 system etc).
We removed all the DTC's as per customer request and provided a custom tune to accompany the modifications.

The customer is also in the process of building a mk1 jetta coupe running a 2.0 tfsi.
We will be on hand again when it's time to get it running!

The customer had recently been to for a downpipe fitting and required the O2 OFF software applying to avoid the dreaded engine management light making an appearance.

A downpipe and a Stage 1 tune to these cars completely transform them, Seriously fast little cars🔥
