If I had a pound for every time I said to Ralph (not his real name) don't forget to check your mirrors before, well literally everything. I'd have been paid twice for his course. It finally sunk in just in time for his test and he passed at the first attempt. So a massive well done to Ralph. (not his real name)

Obviously my latest student doesn't wish to be identified, and I couldn't decide what route to go picture wise, so you have a selection. Plus a picture of Velma when we stopped for a break this morning. I sometimes need a good rest after repeating myself over and over again. 😂

I often get asked about haulage firms in and around Doncaster that take on new HGV drivers. I do know of a few, so figured I'd make a list. I will post links in the comments to those that I know take on new passes, including agencies.

It's Phils turn for that FriYay feeling. Phil has passed his Cat C test today at the first attempt. So a massive well done to Phil. Next week he will be straight into driving a 32 ton rigid for the company he works for. Another leap forward from driving the little 12 ton training vehicle.

First rule of first time pass photography, is don't photograph your own shadow. Who cares, I know Danny doesn't after upgrading his C licence to C+E today at the first attempt. Well done Danny, you can drive the big stuff now.

What a way to finish what has been a very busy week. 3 courses have ended this week, all with first time passes. Andy, just like yesterdays Andy has upgraded from Cat C to C+E this week. Andy, just like yesterdays Andy passed at the first attempt with only 1 driving fault. You don't see an Andy for a while, and then 2 come along at once 😂 A massive well done to todays Andy, I know how much this meant to you. And thank you to Neal who has trained him.

Gonna say it again because it sounds good, thats 3 first time passes and 0 fails this week.

It's first time pass Friday again. Here's Andrew from A to B Transporter Services Ltd who has upgraded from Cat C to C+E with just 1 driving fault. A massive well done Andrew, you're a proper trucker now. I guess Keenan Harper is still top dog there since he managed a zero minor pass with me 😂 Still an awesome result despite not achieving perfection.

It's been a great day for Ilie and Daftny today. Firstly, Ilie, a massive well done on your first time pass, very well deserved. On day one it was obvious that Ilie had watched all my videos and read all the documents I had sent him. It's nice when a student does everything they can to prepare for their course, it just makes the journey that little bit easier all round. And then getting that well deserved pass is the icing on the cake. So a massive well done.

Whilst on test, Ilie was oblivious to the fact that Daftny turned a million. So happy million to Daftny. I highly doubt that there are many trucks with a million kms that look and drive as well as Daftny does. Daftny can have employee of the month. I do actually think I deserve it, but Daftny can have it. 🤣

It's first time pass Friday. A massive well done to Jack who has spent all week with me doing a car to artic course and passed his test this afternoon.

I've said it before, car to artic is a very rewarding course to deliver, and sharing their joy at the end is a real pleasure too. Although, Jack was pretty chill about it. Ha ha. It also can be a very draining course to deliver, but definitely worthwhile on days like today.

Check Glen out, our latest Class 2 driver to ungrade to Class1, at the first attempt too. Give us 3 days, and some dosh, and you too could upgrade your Class 2 licence.

Well done Glen, and thanks again for choosing us. Thanks to Neal too who trained Glen over a weekend. Weekend training isn't something we do as a rule, but where we can, we will accommodate a bit of weekend training.

Everyone learns at different rates, some people get their head around reversing a trailer quite quickly, for others, it might take a while. Teaching people how to reverse is a bit of a specialty of mine, most of my YouTube videos are devoted to reversing. (Link in the comments to my channel) People literally do come from miles around to spend a couple of hours getting reversing tuition from me.
The guy in this video passed his C+E test with another company, he was struggling that much with reversing, he was almost there with throwing the towel in altogether. After an initial 2 hour session, then a couple more hours last week. This is him performing a blind side reverse. The video has been sped up slightly.
